Most grapplers aren’t short on knowledge - they’re drowning in it. More techniques, more instructionals, more seminars, more saved instagram posts. But none of it matters if you don't know what your game actually needs.
When you're inside your own game every day, blind spots compound quietly. You keep running into the same roadblocks, not from a lack of effort, but from a lack of direction:
You don’t see the pattern because you’re inside it every day.
That’s exactly what the Technical Grappling Lab is built to fix.
I wasn't really training jiu-jitsu. I was just showing up to a hard session and hoping that one day the knowledge would somehow sink in through exhaustion. I thought surviving meant training well.

ON TRAINING WITHOUT DIRECTION
The athlete who gets stuck usually isn't lazy. They're usually trying to solve too many problems at once.
When everything feels important, nothing compounds.
On any given week, their focus is split in different directions:
Everything feels urgent, so effort loses hierarchy. Progress stalls, not from lack of work, but because too many priorities are competing at once and nothing gets developed deeply enough to become reliable.
There are so many instructionals and advice out there on the internet these days, and it was really easy for me to be interested in one thing one day and drift off to another topic entirely the next day. As a result, my progression wasn't linear and I often found myself just scattered with where I wanted to take my game.

ON SCATTERED FOCUS
Technical Game Design is not rolling commentary or surface-level feedback.
We decode your sparring footage, extract key data, and construct a custom game architecture that leverages how you naturally move.
By sharpening your tactical decision-making and structuring training around your specific constraints, we make you a more complete, efficient, and dangerous grappler.
Three pillars working together:
Every layer of your game dissected. Technique, rolling style, physical attributes, mental approach. Recurring patterns isolated. Habits that cost you exchanges traced back to where they began.
The data from your analysis is used to design your game architecture. Clear funnels into your best positions. A structured A-game built around who you actually are as a grappler.
Weekly game plans so no session goes to waste. Specific training tailored to you to fast-track your development in the areas that matter most. Every round has direction. Every session is intentional. Your training time starts compounding instead of just accumulating.
I never imagined that my rolls — where I'm mostly getting beat up — would be analysed, audited and then followed by a suggested improvement plan as if I were a professional athlete having my game studied. I've seen a few coaching programs out there, but at this level there's really no comparison.

ON PROFESSIONAL-LEVEL GAME ANALYSIS
This is not a one-time breakdown. It's a weekly feedback loop that builds, tests, and adjusts your whole game as it evolves in real time.
That is how progress compounds.
The training footage and match breakdowns give me clarity to the intentions for the next practice or wave of skill development. I feel like I'm not guessing with practices.

ON NOT GUESSING WITH PRACTICE
Your game is not one thing.
It is a stack of habits, reactions, positions, decisions, strengths, weaknesses, and patterns.
The Lab studies these layers through your footage.
Together, they create a clearer picture of who you are as a grappler, what is limiting you, and what your game should be built around next.
It's hard to trust someone, and a big thing for me was focusing on the specific things you told me in training. I wanted to work on leg locks, bolos or wrestling, but the data you had proved I had to listen.
Giuseppe
On trusting the diagnosis
Three phases. One objective: a more technical, efficient, and dangerous game.
The real constraint gets identified
Your Game gets developed
Your Game becomes more reliable
Holy shit! It is a gold mine. I'll stay with you the whole year, brother!!! Three months is nothing. This excites me to get back to compete.

On receiving the full analysis
One slice of a real map — the top-position passing game. Strong funnels in green, leaks dashed in amber, dead branches dimmed. This is where your A-game stops being a feeling and becomes a designed system.
What the map reveals — your strongest funnel runs Knee-Cut Pass → Side Control → North–South → Back; your primary leak is guard retention, where open guard reframes out before you stabilise; and a forced reset to the feet is a dead branch with low output.
Direct message access for technical questions, with responses within 24 hours.
A focused weekly plan built for you, so every class, round, and training session has a clear purpose.
Specific training and task-based games designed to target the areas of your grappling that need the most development.
Ongoing adsjutments as new leaks, habits, and opportunities show up in your training.
A clear profile of your attributes, tendencies, strengths, limitations, and natural style.
Certainty on the biggest bottleneck holding your game back.
What to study, who to watch, and what to ignore based on your current game.
A clear technical direction for where your game goes next.
When your game becomes structured, training stops feeling like trial and error.
Knowing where my game was breaking down, and then having a clear plan to fix those holes, has allowed me to go into practice and competitions with a lot more freedom and confidence.

On confidence under pressure
Across every belt level, the pattern was the same: they weren’t short on effort or techniques. They needed objective analysis to expose what they couldn’t see and turn it into a clear plan.

Instructionals & Seminars teach isolated techniques. They give you pieces of a puzzle without showing you how they fit into your picture.
1-on-1 Private Lessons offer great real-time corrections, but they rarely diagnose your systemic habits, design your game architecture, or structure your weekly training outside of that hour.
The Technical Grappling Lab is the missing piece most grapplers are looking for: not more techniques to add, and not another round breakdown you are left to figure out alone.
It is a complete game design process where your footage is studied, your patterns are tracked, and your game is actively refined through 1:1 technical oversight.
Every week, we optimise what you study, what you test, and how you train, so every round has a deliberate objective.
This is a premium 1:1 process for grapplers who refuse to let their prime training years go to waste on trial and error.
You'll receive private Technical Game Design insights while intake is closed, plus first access when spots reopen. When the next spot becomes available, priority list subscribers will be notified before the public.
Intake opens based on client capacity, not fixed launch dates. The Lab is kept intentionally limited so each athlete's footage, game, and weekly training direction can be reviewed properly. Priority list subscribers get notified first when spots reopen.
This is not a course. The Lab is a 1:1 coaching process built around your footage, your game, and the patterns showing up in your rounds. There is no generic curriculum to follow. The direction comes from what your game is actually showing.
Most coaching looks at what happened. The Technical Grappling Lab looks at why it keeps happening. Your footage is studied to identify the recurring patterns, quiet habits, and decision-making issues underneath the mistakes. Once the root cause is clear, your training can be structured around what actually needs to change.
This is for serious grapplers who train consistently, can record their rounds, and want their game studied, structured, and developed with direction. You do not need to be a competitor. You do need to take ownership of your improvement, follow the program, and train with intent.
You don’t need a room full of world champions to build an elite game.
The reality is, a single reliable training partner and a camera are all you need to transform how you grapple. When every round has a distinct purpose, your footage is clinically reviewed, and your training is built around your real bottlenecks, rapid development isn't just possible — it becomes predictable.
If you’re still reading, the problem probably isn’t effort — it’s direction.
You’ve put in the hours. Done the rounds. Studied the instructionals. Tried to piece your game together on your own.
But deep down, you know your progress is not matching the amount of time you’re investing. You know there is still untapped potential.
You know there is another level in your game, but training harder alone is not bringing it out.
The cost of staying the same is not just another frustrating round. It is another year of trial and error, reinforcing the same habits, plateauing against the same training partners, running into the same problems, and waiting for clarity to appear.
If you already have the work ethic, the next step is direction.
The Technical Grappling Lab gives that effort a system — with your footage studied, your bottlenecks isolated, and your development directed through continuous 1:1 Technical Game Design.
